GOLIATH GROUPER FISHING IN CAPE CORAL / FORT MYERS
Want to hook into the fish of a lifetime? Goliath trips are not for the faint of heart, knees or back! Come play tug-of-war with fish up to 600 pounds. This is serious rod-bending, hand-cramping, rod-busting action! These charters usually consist of an hour or so of fishing for “bait”, usually crevalle jacks, ladyfish, catfish, mullet, stingrays or a number of other things. Once we are loaded with enough large baits we will spend a few hours dropping them in front of fish large enough to pull you to your knees! The drag is “locked down” and you must have a spotter ready to assist you in standing upright, staying on the boat, and holding onto the rod. Prices are the same as regular charters, and Goliath fishing can also be added as part of a regular day of backcountry fishing.
